Tan leather Dopp Kit goodness from Korchmar.

January 20, 2018

One item that has been lacking from my arsenal is a leather Dopp kit. As I continue my partnership with Korchmar, I knew I needed to change my travel habits.

I admit, I’m not above throwing all my travel essentials into a zip lock bag and calling it a day. However, every time I take a trip I promise myself that I’m going to buy a nice Dopp kit for the next one. Well, it’s been years and years of this and I’m finally changing my ways. I admit—it feels good. There’s something classy about traveling with a refined Dopp kit. It makes me feel a bit more adult. I’m particularly pleased with the nice rich walnut color of this Lux Ryder from Korchmar. It’s something that will age gracefully and I’ll be able to pass it down to my son or grandson (don’t have any yet but hopefully one day!). It’s constructed of full grain American aniline leather with solid brass hardware. The ends un-snap to allow for expansion—which is a nifty feature for those pesky longer items like a toothbrush or shaving cream. And of course, as always, made in the USA—handcrafted in their own factory.

Thanks to Korchmar for sponsoring this post and providing me with the Centennial Taft Weekender. All styling is my own!
