It’s that time of season for an abundance of graduation parties and weddings. If you’re like me, you feel most comfortable in a polished yet relaxed look with garments that are classic and stylish. Today, I’m continuing my partnership with MANGO to style a smart casual approach to the spring and summer months.
Khaki chinos and a denim shirt are two foundations in my wardrobe. They are simple but refined and work well for almost any occasion. It’s a combination that shows you care about what you wear. However, there are some moments when you need to take it up just a notch (but not full on suit style). For these times, I love to throw on a simple unstructured blazer. It smartens up a casual look, adding a bit of sophistication. I prefer to keep it slim but still plenty of room for movement.
To keep this look a bit more fashion-forward, I opted for a pair of killer white sneakers with a gum sole which really ties the whole look together. The sunglasses also have a striking color that let’s others know you’ve put some thought into your outfit. Accessories always help to add the finishing touch.
