Earlier this year, I created some of my favorite posts with MANGO including ‘Smart Casual Earthy Tones‘ and ‘Beating the Heat.’ Well, spring and summer have come and gone. The fall fashion months are here which means cozy layers and warm tones will abundantly take over my wardrobe. This season I’ll be continuing my partnership with MANGO to style my favorite pieces from their A/W 2018 collection into head to toe outfits. MANGO’s unified brand image and vast offerings make it easy to obtain incredibly clean basics while staying on trend with contemporary styles.
To kick off fall, I wanted to incorporate two of my favorite things: sweatshirts and warm tones. This tobacco brown cotton crewneck gets the job done right. The color is simple and neutral yet bold enough to be a standout piece. It shows you’re ready for the season!
I never enjoy wearing sweatshirts without a base layer, so I opted for a plain white crewneck t-shirt to wear underneath. It’s a simple piece but a must-have for any guy’s wardrobe. Even if I’m wearing it as an undershirt, it’s important that it looks refined. It’s the little details that count—so when the top of the tee’s collar makes an appearance under the sweatshirt’s collar, you’ll want that to look as clean as your whole outfit. Also, you never know when you’ll get too warm and want to take off your sweatshirt. If you’re not wearing a presentable t-shirt underneath, then you’re stuck in a grungy tee all day.
I’ve paired the sweatshirt with light wash denim. The shade on these jeans creates the perfect balance this time of year—still retaining some summer vibes while transitioning into cooler temperatures. On my feet is a pair of fresh white sneakers (no surprise there!). You’ll find me in sneakers all year around. They’re comfortable, versatile, and stylish. The minimal design lends itself to a incredibly clean aesthetic.
