It’s been 10 years since MANGO Man first launched their brand in 2008. They are celebrating a decade in business with an extremely special capsule collection of 10 unique and iconic pieces. They’ve pulled out all the stops with these timeless garments, using materials that have been carefully crafted and selected in order maintain a high level of quality and attention to detail. I had the absolute pleasure to style my favorite pieces from the collection in a look that I would describe as a modern approach to minimalistic elegance.
The pieces I selected are all colors that I’m no stranger to. The base of the outfit is comprised of shades of grey, using a stunning cashmere turtle neck sweater paired with light grey trousers. The trousers are 100% wool with a cuff at the bottom to add a bit of intelligence and refinement.
The sneakers are all white with a contrasting suede leather side panel in beige. This adds a bit of playfulness to its classic silhouette—giving the outfit a bit of extra intrigue. It’s these little design elements that show their attention to detail with the whole collection. I’m already planning a few more outfits with these guys. They have just the right amount of color!
The main showpiece is the cashmere blend navy coat. It has a super clean silhouette with just the right overall length. The collar is a classic shape with twin side coat pockets and cuffs with working buttons. Navy is the perfect color for a coat of this style. It’s an easy tone to layer and wear frequently throughout the colder months.
The finishing touch is all about what you carry. A bag is the perfect accessory to pull an outfit together. I’m a big fan of tote bags and this one is no exception. It’s constructed of a cotton shell and interior lining with a leather handle. The strap is the perfect length for a daily carry—to hold in your hand or throw over your shoulder. I’m really thrilled with this piece.
The 10 pieces in the collection show MANGO’s passion for good design and quality merchandise. These aren’t items that will be out of style next season—they are pieces meant to last. A few of my other favorites from the collection include a white shirt, a striped shirt, cashmere cable sweater in navy and maroon, dark wash denim, and an unstructured blazer.
