Today’s post is part of my ongoing partnership with Bombinate. All styling is my own!
When I’m not wearing sneakers, I always prefer my boots to maintain the same minimalistic silhouette and attention to detail that I find so attractive about court style sneakers. Bombinate has something special in store for all the footwear fanatics out there. They’ve teamed up with Oliver Cabell for an incredibly special chukka boot that is seriously refined and crafted with care.
Let’s back up just a bit and talk for a moment about Oliver Cabell. They are independent footwear brand, known for their hand made sneakers that adhere to the same principles that Bombinate lives by (read more about these principles here). Using ethical factories and old-school techniques, they create perfect, timeless footwear with a direct-to-consumer approach.
For this special limited edition collaboration, they composed a chukka boot from carefully selected Kudu leather from Stead in Leeds, which has been in business since 1895. They focus primarily on using artisanal techniques to create one of the best possible suedes in the business. It’s tough and strong yet incredibly soft.
The Bombinate x Oliver Cabell Chukka Boot is truly one of a kind. It is hand-stitched and lasted in Spain with Italian leather lining and a custom Italian crepe sole. It comes in 3 stunning colors: a rich dark chocolate brown, a seasonal appropriate chestnut, and a warm clove grey (styled in today’s post). They are dressy enough to wear with trousers and rugged enough to pair with denim. It has a clean shape, long toe, and shortened laces to create a streamlined shape.
They are available this Tuesday, December 4th but quantities are extremely limited. Sign up here to join the waiting list and see what else Bombinate has been brewing lately. Their limited edition collaborations are some of the best I’ve seen—joining with carefully selected brands that share their same mission and appreciation of the craft.
Thanks to Bombinate for sponsoring this post and providing me with the El Andalus Duffle Bag!
How can I get this ?
Hi there, I’d inquire directly with the kind folks at Bombinate. See the links in the blog post above to direct you to their site. Thanks!
