Ahhhhh, it’s that time of year when I head to work in the morning without needing a thousand layers, two pairs of gloves, and socks thick enough to make my feet sweat. Sure, I’m going to miss layering up—after all, it is probably my favorite thing related to fashion. But all good things must come to an end, and what better way to welcome the warmer weather than embracing lighter layers to help ease the transition of the season.
I’m continuing my partnership with MANGO Man this spring to select and style my favorite looks throughout the season. Selecting my favorites from their site isn’t an easy task. Once I laid eyes on this button down, I knew I wanted to build a look around it. I’ve been looking for a shirt such as this for a while now. It’s lightweight and slightly dressy with just the perfect stripe thickness and spacing. It wears well with just about any pair of pants. I chose to keep it casual with a pair of light washed denim. The classic cotton trench adds just the right about of finesse and sophistication to this spring combo.
