Bennett Winch was formed in 2014 when Messrs Robin Bennett and Robin Winch (two friends from different industries) sketched their concept for The Weekender on a napkin in a bar. They both wanted a bag that was reliable, functional, and manufactured with uncompromised quality. To this day, the olive Weekender remains their best-selling bag. I’m thrilled to team up with them to style this signature weekender for today’s look.
It’s not often you find a holdall overnight bag that’s actually designed to carry everything you need. In my opinion, this is what really separates Bennett Winch from other brands. When I first opened the box, I literally said ‘WOW’ out loud. The quality was evident from first sight. It’s made from sturdy 24oz bonded canvas that’s reinforced with leather. It’s durable and waterproof—because getting caught in the rain isn’t something you want to have to worry about when traveling.
Everything about this weekender is thoughtfully designed for a luxury weekend away (even if the destination isn’t so luxurious). It has a series of functional pockets and compartments for your phone/wallet/passport/sunglasses with a padded laptop sleeve inside the bag. This is a feature that I haven’t encountered in other weekenders yet! It also has two discreetly designed waterproof compartments that provide enough room for a pair of shoes, a wet bathing suit, or anything else that you may want to separate from your clean items.
Bennett Winch are committed to quality without compromising the aesthetic. Designed and made in England shows proof of their commitment to creating pieces that will withstand daily use. It’s a brand that I fully endorse and has been an honor to work with them on today’s post.
