Today’s post is sponsored by Bombinate.
Last week we saw the release of Bombinate’s first limited edition capsule product the Habanera—an absolute stunning pair of sunglasses in collaboration with The Bespoke Dudes Eyewear. Remarkable, it sold out in less than two hours! This week, we continue to celebrate Bombinate’s first year anniversary with their creation of The Fiorentino, a special collaboration with Italian swimwear brand Ripa Ripa.
Inspired by beauty of the Mediterranean and designs of the Italian sixties, Ripa Ripa redefines Italian swimwear by redesigning the classic drawstring swimsuit with a clean tailored cut.
“The Fiorentino is a creative ode to the moment we first met Anna Laura and Oliviero in Florence (founders of Ripa Ripa). We wanted to combine Ripa Ripa’s vibrant flair with our exigency for quality.”
—Elliott Aeschlimann and Massimiliano Gritti, founders of Bombinate
Ripa Ripa shares Bombinate’s quest for authenticity, tradition and quality. They didn’t hesitate to collaborate and create immaculately tailored swim shorts to celebrate the occasion. The suit is handcrafted by a team of seasoned tailors in a small Italian town near Naples. It is playful yet sophisticated—holding just the right combination of a bold beach pattern with a minimal color palette. As I’ve mentioned before, a swimsuit is one area that I embrace a bit of fun. While I still prefer more muted tones, I am open to designs that embody the summer spirit. This suit is a perfect pairing of all the elements combined with an amazing modern fit.
This very special collaboration is launching on the 9th of July and limited to only 30 pairs (29 left including mine!). Signup to join the waitlist here!
Thanks to Bombinate for sponsoring this post and providing me with the Fiorentino swim shorts. Stay tuned for more special releases from Bombinate!
