Minimal backpack perfection with ISM San Francisco.

November 9, 2017

I have a weakness for tastefully designed backpacks. That’s why I’m thrilled to partner up with ISM San Francisco for today’s post.

It’s not an easy task to design a bag that functions well for work but still stylish enough bring out at night. ISM accomplished just that with their minimalist design and beautiful aesthetics. Every detail is intentionally designed to help keep you efficient and achieve more. Even the box it arrived in was tastefully executed. As a graphic designer myself, I know that packaging makes a big impact. Unboxing the backpack was an experience that let me know I was in for a real treat.

Right now they offer two different styles—the Saffiano mini and the Classic. I chose the Classic which is comprised of half nylon and half flat leather. It features one zippered pocket and two pocket sleeves for your daily belongings. It also includes a separate water-resistant laptop compartment to keep your computer or tablet safe. By far my favorite feature is the thoughtfully designed side flap and inside pocket to hold the powerbank. Just slide your USB cord through flap and charge your phone on the go. This is a game changer for me because I’m always in need of a charge.

The cost of the backpack is modest and affordable. ISM cuts out the middleman and goes direct to consumer eliminating unnecessary mark up. Also, feel free to use this link with the discount code ‘PHIL’ to receive a free powerbank with a bag pre-order.

Thanks again to ISM San Francisco for sponsoring this post and providing me with the merchandise. All styling is my own!

Simplifying the complicated with V76 by Vaughn.

November 4, 2017

Simplifying the complicated with V76 by Vaughn. Crucial pre-date prep for a night out with the wife. Saturday essentials including the 4-in-1 Cleansing Foam, Detox Bar Soap, and Blue Cedar Cologne. Also pictured is the Grooming Cream and Control Balm.

I’m thrilled to team up with V76 to feature a few of their products alongside of my date night outfit. Grooming and style go hand in hand. I’m a firm believer that taking care of your face, body, and hair will enhance your confidence just like a well put together outfit. V76 is a wonderful American-made men’s grooming line founded by all-around cool guy Vaughn Acord. They want to add simplicity to the grooming process—creating classic essentials for modern men. All the formulas are American-sourced vegan or vegetarian ingredients (a few contain beeswax, hence not all are completely vegan). They are also free of gluten, parabens, and sulfates.

Thanks such much to V76 for sponsoring this post and providing me with the merchandise to photograph. All grooming supplies available to purchase on v76.com. All styling is my own!
