Sundays well spent with Korchmar.

February 25, 2018

When investing in a bag for my daily needs, it’s important that it functions well for both work and play. I’m just as fond of backpacks now as I was when I was a kid. Their overall purpose hasn’t changed—it’s still a place to hold your daily belongings. However, instead of going to school everyday, I’m now going to the office. As a grownup, I need a grownup bag—something that’s refined enough for the workplace but rugged enough for weekend activities. I’ve found the Houston backpack from Korchmar to straddle that bridge perfectly and am thrilled to partner with them for today’s post.

I’ve owned the Houston backpack for over a year now and am incredibly impressed with its versatility. It’s designed with a clean silhouette that works just as well with a suit as it does with a denim jacket. Leather is a fantastic choice for a daily carry. It’s low maintenance and ages extremely well. The Houston is handcrafted in the United States from vegetable-tanned leather with a natural leather interior. With two generous front pockets and a built-in sleeve, it houses an iPad and up to a 15” laptop with plenty of room for other personal items. I’ve found the Mocha colorway to be right at home in my wardrobe—pairing extremely well with warm neutrals and navy bases. It also comes in a rich golden Cognac that looks like it will age gracefully.

Thanks to Korchmar for sponsoring this post and providing me with the Houston backpack. All styling is my own!
