Parka days with JAGVI
Today’s post is sponsored by JAGVI. All styling is my own!

As the saying goes, April showers bring May flowers. Transitioning weather calls for outerwear that can be versatile. The temperature these past few weeks has been incredible fickle. One day it’s freezing cold and the next day I’m able to wear shorts. The rain has been just as unpredictable—and I hate leaving the house unprepared. Staying dry doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice style. A parka is a wonderful wet weather option to wear when you want to look dapper but also survive the storm.

Today, I’ve style a smart casual outfit featuring a wonderful Blue Marine Parka from JAGVI (also available here). JAGVI is French brand pulling cultural inspirations from France and Sweden into a contemporary yet minimalistic menswear collection. Last year I teamed up with them on this post—styling my favorite pieces from their 2017 fall collection. This season, I am excited to incorporate a couple more of their staple pieces into my wardrobe.

The Blue Marine Parka is a technical style jacket that combines form and function. It’s incredibly lightweight—fold it up and throw it in your bag for those mysterious mornings where the weather is unpredictable. It works well as a stand-alone piece over a t-shirt for the warmer spring days or size up if you want to layer during cooler weather. It features cuff tabs, a central zipper, a zipped chest pocket, two front flap pockets, and a drawstring hood. Navy is my favorite for a rain jacket—it’s easy and goes with almost everything.

Alongside the parka, I styled their Mottled Blue Cotton City Pant (also available here). Made in Portugal, this cotton trousers have a fairly skinny fit with a hint of stretch (2% elastane). I’m starting to wish everything in my wardrobe had a bit of stretch. It allows for so much more comfort and so much less restriction—especially with a slimmer fit.

I’m excited to tackle the elements this season with JAGVI. You can shop their whole line at L’Exception (a French leader in luxury fashion for men and women). They ship to over 50 countries worldwide.

Thanks again to JAGVI for sponsoring this post and providing me with the Parka and City Pants. All styling is my own!
