Back at it again with a few killer pieces from minimalist/urban French brand JagVi. This is the third season that I’ve been honored to style a look from their collection. Last fall I put together a complete monochromatic outfit, and this past spring I highlighted a couple more key wardrobe staples. This fall their collection keeps expanding with striking silhouettes and rich tones for the fall. The tailoring is sharp and mostly slim with an emphasis on clean lines and a minimalist color palette.
In my opinion, the stand out piece in this collection, is the camel wool short jacket (also available here). It’s made in France from 80% wool creating a soft and warm layer for chilly days. I owned several camel overcoats throughout the last few years but nothing of this variety with a shorter body style and zip enclosure. It pairs well with darker tones like charcoal and navy—as well as lighter shades of beige such as this merino wool sweater (also available here). This jumper separates itself from the pack with a slightly higher and fuller neck design as well as curved shoulder seams. These are subtle details which create a bold impact on such a simple piece. The color is a perfect shade of beige which creates a neutral base and pairs well with many complimenting tones.
The stretch flannel City Pant (also available here) was my immediate choice for a trouser to compliment the outfit. The grey color is not too dark and not too light, making it a perfect candidate for almost any combination. The fit is on the skinny side, so I might advise sizing up. It wear comfortable given the 2% elastane mixed with cotton. The crease creates a smart and tailored look to add a bit of class to any occasion.
I’m excited to incorporate these pieces into my wardrobe this season. You can shop their whole line at L’Exception (a French leader in luxury fashion for men and women). They ship to over 50 countries worldwide.
Thanks again to JagVi for sponsoring this post and providing me with the merchandise. All styling is my own!
